 I also just recently watched the movie "Contact". This movie was about a SETI type program and how intelligent life was actually contacted. The movie did an excellent job of portraying what the situation could be like should life actually be found. From the reaction of the government all the way to the fanatical groups portrayed, I think they did a good job in this movie of interpreting what could happen. The business owner with all the funds and the resources to participate behind the scenes was also quite believable. Although the movie was quite long, it didn't feel as if time were passing slowly. The ending was actually pretty neat, they didn't try to show us what the alien life would look like - they used a different approach. Yes!
